Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985 New York City New York) is awaited for her recognition due to her ability to act across different genres such as historical dramas, thrillers and action films. Johansson daughter of an architect as well as a producer was raised in New York City. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. By the time she was seven years old, her passion for acting was growing. She began to audition for commercials. Her next film won praise for her performance as a teenage girl who suffered a disfiguring accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and she gained further attention as cynical teen outcast Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001).
